Our principal dentist, Mr Jeremy Lyle, qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2003 and has been at the practice since 2006 purchasing it in February 2011.
He has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry but has a specialist interest in cosmetic Dentistry. He has a wealth of training including Quick Straight Teeth Orthodontic system, Conscious sedation for helping nervous patients and Anti-snoring training for any sufferers, that may be falling asleep during the day or keeping their partner awake at night.
He has a reputation for having a kind and patient manor which makes him great with the children and puts the more nervous patients at ease.
In is free time he enjoys his 2 young children, playing hockey and cooking.
Dr Kate Holt

Cornhill Dental Practice is delighted to introduce our new associate, Dr Kate Holt BDS.
Kate qualified back in 2003 from GKT Dental School London.
Kate has spent her qualified years working in General Practice and the Community Dental Sector, working in Prison Dentistry, Paediatrics and Special Care Dentistry.
She has a special interest in helping nervous patients and has done courses to assist patients that are experiencing anxiety and pain. She is highly experienced at Dental Intravenous Sedation, which she is keen to begin providing at the practice. She also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and smile design.
In her spare time, she enjoys badminton, walking and socialising when not entertaining her two doggies, Oli and Teddy, a crazy young Labrador, or her young daughter.
Cornhill Dental Practice is delighted that Kate will be joining our team in September, and we all look forward to welcoming her.

Rachel Lyle is our Director, Business Manager and Oral Health Co-ordinator.
Rachel has been working in the dental profession for the past 18 year. Since qualifying back in 2005 she has worked in implant surgery, conscious sedation, orthodontics and general surgery.
Rachel has a special interest in helping people and that is what she loves about working in dentistry.
Rachel can be found dealing with all aspects of general dentistry within the practice having gained her ILM Level 5 business management certificate in 2015.
Rachel’s special interest motivates her to help patients/children with their Oral Health, while striving to continue to bring patients dental care of the highest standards.
Rachel is married to Jeremy our principle dentist and together they have two children. In her spare time, she likes to keep fit, bake and taxi her children around!

Kelly has worked in dentistry for the last 15 years and enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
Kelly has a friendly and caring approach in her job and feels it is important to make patients feel at ease .
Kelly in her spare time enjoys walking, travelling, socialising with friends , photography and going to the theatre.
Linda has been interested in dentistry ever since she was a child. She loves being a nurse, from helping patients overcome their fears and leaving the surgery with confidence and often with a new smile to having a different day each day.
Linda loves spending time with her family and having laughs with them especially her two younger brothers, her favouirte and most recent film she has watched is the Star is Born.
Lindas life moto is – you never know where life is going to take you, so be ready, take a risk and enjoy it!

Sophia has been nursing since 2013 and has worked in both NHS and private practices.
At her previous practice she gained a lot of knowledge and experience on dental implants and enjoys surgical treatments.
In her spare time she enjoys decorating her house and walking her dog.

Geri qualified in May 2011 as a dental nurse. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is kept busy with her little girl. She regularly runs, listens to music and likes to read.

At Cornhill, the team strive to offer more to patients to improve and maintain their oral health.
My top dental tip would be?
Tooth-brushing only reaches 60% of tooth surfaces, In order to remove the bacteria, you need to get something between the teeth to! This will help prevent both gum disease and dental decay.
Where would you most like to travel to?
I like to travel and explore anywhere new! But my favourite place so far is Italy!

What do you like to do outside of work?
Spending quality time with my family, I enjoy baking for fun and trying out new recipes!

GDC Number: 282011Karolina is dedicated and passionate about her profession. She has 6+ years of hands-on experience and graduated as a dental hygienist in 2013.
She is patient-centric and is an active listener. Karolina is good at educating and motivating patients in the care of teeth and gums, provides treatments to prevent oral problems (gum diseases), and offers oral hygiene with dietary advice.
In her free time, Karolina likes to discover new places, and enjoys being close to nature.
Chris has been with us for 5 years, she enjoys working with people and being on reception here and being part of the team, she is also enjoying learning all the aspects of dentistry.
Outside of work Chris enjoys family time and can often be found on the sideline of football, rugby and cricket pitches supporting her son.
She also loves holidays, walking her dog and having catch ups with friends and family.
Our dental receptionist Cristie has worked as a dental nurse since 2017 and has now taken on our receptionist role. She enjoys helping people and has slotted into our team well.
In her spare time she enjoys camping, paddle boarding and long walks with her Schnauzer, Rosie.
